It's Official: City of Itasca Joins Antique Alley Texas
Jan 15th, 2012

Itasca City Administrator, Mark Gropp and other council members predict the show to be a much needed boost to the local economy. Mr. Gropp will direct the organization of Antique Alley for the benefit of residents in Itasca. His team will include Dennis Heyse, who will be in charge of showing and assigning vendor spaces and CinDee Garrett who will advertise and respond to inquiries for the Itasca show. Mr. Gropp exclaimed “look out, because we are coming on board with the force of a tornado! We’ve given this a lot of thought, made many preparations throughout the community such as adding awnings to cover the sidewalks and we’re ready!”
The show now spans Hill, Johnson and Ellis counties and runs through Grandview, Itasca, Cleburne and Maypearl. Antique Alley Texas now boasts 37 miles of treasure hunting twice per year on the third Friday, Saturday and Sunday in April and September. The next show is slated for April 20-22. Interested parties can contact Itasca Antique Alley coordinators at moc.oohay@yellAeuqitnAacsatI or call 254.337.0265. The BIG Little Town plans to fully embrace Antique Alley and put their own brand on the event. To learn more about Itasca, visit the city’s website at BigLittleTownTexas.com.
